CLIPPER-THON WALK & RUN 4 HEALTH
The Oxon Hill High School Music Boosters Association (IMBA) is proud to announce the first annual “CLIPPER-THON, Walk& Run 4 Health,” community event. Beginning at 8:00am on Saturday, June 1, 2013, at Fort Washington Park.
Join an estimated 300 participants from the Prince George’s County community including Oxon Hill High School Scholars and their families, local celebrities and community leaders as they come together to show their support of healthy community living in Prince George’s County.
The CLIPPER-THON is a fundraising community “Health” event intended to help raise funds for the Oxon Hill High School Instrumental Music Department, and to promote health awareness in among our community and neighbors.
If you’re interested in walking or running in this event, registration will begin on Saturday, May 4, 2013. Registration forms can be found by logging on to the CLIPPER-THON web site @ <ohhinstrumentalmusic.com>.

This festival is FREE and open to the public. We expect 300+ in attendance and will offer vendors (food and merchandise), a parade, live musical performances, children’s activities, information about non-profit groups, “Parole Idol” Talent Competition ($$Cash$$ Prize for the Winner), and much, much more!
Community Festival Participants Needed!
Looking for sponsors ($25 and up), vendors/exhibitors (space rental $0 - $100), entertainers (Gospel, Jazz, Blues, Country, R&B, Hip Hop, Rap, Reggae, Comedy, Dancers, Steppers, etc.), Parade participants (bands, classic cars, motorcycles, cheerleaders, pep squads, etc.), and contestants for our “Parole Idol” Talent Competition. We also need donations of items to be used as door prizes/giveaways and backpacks and school supplies for the backpack giveaway.**
