Description: The Maryland-National Capital Park Police Department in Prince George’s County invite everyone to our Annual Community Day on Saturday, August 20, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Watkins Regional Park, 301 Watkins Park Drive, Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Park Police Community Day will include representation from police, fire and other organizations whose job it is to keep our communities safe and prosperous. The event will give County residents and visitors the opportunity to meet their public-safety representatives and enjoy a variety of summertime activities, such as police and fire demos, games, prizes, music, giveaways, food, various amusements, and plenty of hands-on equipment displays for the kids to explore. Watkins Park also offers other attractions as well, such as the Old Maryland Farm, an antique carousel, a miniature train, miniature golf, indoor tennis, and many more activities. Come and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon with your public-safety friends!
